F.W. RØRTEKNIK is a family-owned contracting and engineering company located in western Denmark. Based on our strong position in Denmark, we carry out projects in most of the world.    

We started in the beginning of the 1980s, when district heating was rapidly expanding in Denmark. In addition, we were also the main supplier for the expansion of processing facilities at what is now one of the world’s largest fishing industries.

At the same time, we produced containers in many sizes for the entire world in accordance with international and local standards. On this basis, we have further developed and are now a manufacturer of on-site stationary tanks, tank facilities and pre-fabricated storage tanks.

FW has built more than 400 stationary tanks in Denmark and abroad, which has given us a thorough knowledge of our customers and deep know-how regarding the different industries in which our customers operate.

We give professional project management a high priority and our project department is staffed by technicians, engineers (civil engineers and welding engineers) and project managers with many years of practical experience within the construction of tanks at both our factory in Denmark and on site.

We carry out tasks for a large number of both Danish and international customers - always based on the customer’s specifications and in compliance with applicable legislation.

• Designing and manufacturing containers/tanks according to current norms and standards, such as EN/ISO, the PED 97/23/EC Directive, API, PD/BS and respective refinery DEPs, etc.
• Service and repairs of tanks in accordance with EEMUA 159
• Quality assurance system based on DS/EN ISO 9001:2008
• Certified in accordance with DS/EN ISO 3834-2:2006 quality requirements with regard to welding metallic materials
• Certified in accordance with EN 1090-1:2009 + AC:2010 instructions for construction
